Nicely bound in quarter black morocco over moire beveled boards, gilt particulars to cover and spine, dark green end papers, 40 leaves of plates, some folded, some color, illustrations and photographs; frontispiece with tissue guard: photograph by Rev A. E. Owen titled "Crooked-Stern" Junk, 96 pages plus epilogue. Government publication, narrative of the various types of junks operating on the waters of the Upper Yangtze (Above Ichang) and its affluents.
