Tight, attractive first edition of this poetry collection by the author and poet (1862-1944) of such California classics as "California Life," "A History of Southern California" and more. Laid in is an interesting Autograph Note Signed from McGroarty's aunt, 1p, heavy stock 5" X 3" card, n.p., n.y. Fine. "Jerry asked me to send this this book. I am sure if he were here he would inscribe something in it. I know his affectionate regards go with it. Margaret McHale Jerry's old maid aunt." A charming copy.
