Published by Macmillan & Co. Ltd., 1948. 1st edition.. Hardback. Good. Illustrated by Lodge, Grace. Good condition with no wrapper. A selection of short stories ranging from 4 minutes to 14 minutes long. Inscluding a story entitled "The Bad Golliwog". Cream cloth with red titles and vignette. B/w text illustrations. Spine and corners bumped and worn. Cloth beginning to split at front edge of spine. Covers grubby. Library stamp and 'reject' on front pastedown. Rear joint beginning to crack. Pencil dots to front and rear endpapers. A few foxspots and margin marks, otherwise contents are generally clean.
