Caldwell: Caxton, 1958. 3rd Printing. Hardcover. Good-/No Jacket. Typically sturdy Caxton product, solid binding. Text, slick, handsome, unmarked is quite sharp. Owners name penned, small, 1st endsheet. Trace stain front board (light brown and nearly missed it on Chinese red cloth) gilt on spine and cover reads nicely. Hardcover book will last for many years, good bit of cocking (the spine slant from bad storage) as though one board leads the other by 1/8th inch. Finally, book's 1st gutter has a good 1/8th" paper separation and the actual cheesecloth hinging is visible. *We feel that books offered for internet sale should be described thoroughly and accurately. Books listed by Brass Dolphin are so described, and graded, using the strict, traditional standards. For this reason, we have virtually zero returns.*
