About This Item
HILL AND WANG. Poor in Poor dust jacket. 1960. Hardcover. Signed and inscribed by Jens Bjerre on front endpaper (also dated and wrote the location as Durban). Hard cover published by Hill and Wang in 1960. Tan covers with blue lettering on spine. The previous owner added red, green and black tape on the covers (on inside and outside) and spine along the edges and across the middle. The front endpaper has a piece of black tape in middle and the name of a previous owner at top. Pages have some spotting and foxing. On inside of front cover is a taped piece of paper with the typed name of the author on one side and a handwritten note that "You may be interested in my latest book Savage New Guinea (also Hill & Wang New York)". Book is in acceptable condition. Dust jacket is in very poor condition. It is worn and torn along edges with missing pieces, torn down edges of spine, and creased and scuffed. DJ has foxing and stains, and is barely acceptable. 227 pages, 1.1 lb.; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 227 pages; Signed by Author .
