The 84th of 94 volumes published by the Royal Historical Society as the 'Camden Third Series', the first series to be produced after the merger of the original Camden Society - a text publication society founded in London in 1838 to publish early historical and literary materials - with the Royal Historical Society. With a map frontispiece of 'Part of the Liberty of Saint Edmund'. Condition: In a full cloth binding. Externally, smart with light shelfwear only. Spine justa fraction sunned. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are uniformly bright and clean. Institutional marks from the Westfield College Library throughout; with plate to front pastedown and stamps to endpapers andtitle page.
