London : George Routledge and Sons A good copy of a Kate Greenaway Birthday Book - undated but circa 1880, with colour frontispiece and 11 further colour printed plates. The presentation page is filled in stating that the book was presented to Moyra Tuck from Z Sherborne and some of the dates are filled in pencil with various members of the Sherborne family. A note at the end gives a later owner - Miss B Coombs who gave her address as Brook St Hospital Ward 6 in Shooters Hill 3rd March 1918. The binding is clean with bright gilt titles. The edges and corners have some rubbing. Contents nice and clean.
