About This Item
LONDON: CHAPMAN AND HALL, 1872. 1st Edition . Original Cloth. Near Fine. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. An extremely attractive set of this classic work on ceramics. With numerous tissue guarded plates throughout - all present as called for. The bindings are the original ornate publisher's cloth in brown, with black and gilt stamped designed. Vol 1 is clean, bright and tight with only very slight rubbing to extremities. Vol 2 is similar, though the webbing is show at the joiints. The binding remains tight on both. A very attractive pair of books indeed!
