This volume of the Keyes Papers is Volume 122 of the Publications of the Navy Records Society, and covers the period of World War II. Keyes, by now retired and a Member of Parliament, was initially frustrated in his efforts to play a more active role in the war. There is much material on the extent to which Churchill interfered with the conduct of operations.
