NY: The Dial Press, 1967. First Edition . Soft cover. Very Good. Advance reading/uncorrected proof copy of the author's fourth novel. Very good in tan wraps somewhat soiled at the bottom edge of the pages. The unprinted spine is slightly darkened, and has a small tear at the top of rear gutter, and the loss of the first layer of paper along the top of the spine, about 1/4." The front cover is a typewritten letter from the publisher extolling the book's virtues. Inscribed by the author on the front endpaper.
