Tip of bottom corner to fore-edge of front cover and first few leaves a little rotted with damp as is the corner of another plate. There is a small closed tear to the last plate and some damp-staining to leaves. To half title page is penciled `Egerton Leigh, given by the author - Captain Hort`.
