Chicago: Rand McNally and Company, 1933. Hardcover. Fine/Near fine. Illustrated by Mead Schaeffer and John R. Neil. The Windemere Series. 4to. xiii,(1),455pp. Black cloth with a color paste-on to the upper bard; spine and upper board blocked in silver. Illustrated endpapers. Traces of spotting and soil to the top edge else a fine, bright copy. The dustwrapper is unclipped; it has some roughness along the top and bottom of the rear panel else is fine and bright as well. Gaines C41, where it is noted that Allen's version of Malory is arranged for the juvenile reader. This edition was first published in 1924.
