A sensitive story of a 12 year old David Lee unable to adjust to life in small Vermont town when his once famous rodeo clown father, Earl, quits the circuit. A horse, Gypsy, is bought by a newly widowed old woman, Sarah Tierney, who knows little on horse caring, and seeksl help from father & son. The three spend more and more time with Gypsy to learn more about themselves and naturally dispell each's loneliness. A heartfelt story, for ages 9-12, is a worthy read bringing man & nature closer together. Strong copy.
