About This Item

London: Hodder & Stoughton 1935, a numbered copy from a limited edition of 250. (Hardcover) 285pp. plus [48] photographs. Very good, no dust jacket. Blue cloth with gilt lettering. Top edge gilt, bevelled edges, color frontispiece, index, photographs. This is the Special Canadian Edition which is taken from the plates of the British edition. The copyright page lists two separate editions of which it is not clear that this copy is from: the second Impression of the Presentation Edition, and the sixth impression of the People's Edition. The spine is darkened and worn at the top and bottom. Also writes as Lord Tweedsmuir. Book about George V--King of England. (History--England).
