Boscombe Down, a large airfield on Salisbury Plain - one of the most closely guarded and secret places in GB during the war years of 1939-45. The '30 Years Rule' has allowed many wartime secrets to be declassified, thus archives of Boscombe were released. Here some of the fascinating work of the A&AEE including the investigation into the mysterious losses of early RAF Halifax bombers.
