Illustrated with 12 lovely double-page color chromolithographs of cats and dogs fighting and playing. Pen & ink illustrations in sepia throughout, including the endpapers. There are a couple of watermarks to the upper, left area of the front board. Also a couple of erasures to the front. There is some edge wear along the front and rear covers. 3/4" splitting just beginning at the upper, front and rear spine end edges. There is also some wear to the spine ends and corners. A couple of extremely tiny worm holes affecting the rear cover and last couple of leaves. The interior and all illustrations are otherwise in excellent condition. Very tight and much better than usually encountered. ; Oblong Small 4to 9" - 11" tall .
