Privately Printed, 1930 paper bound, printed in Paris, Lawrence first published Lady Chatterley in Italy in 1928, it was immediately pirated and he printed a 2nd edition in Paris in 1929, this book exactly copies that edition but for the date on the title page. I assume that this is a 2nd printing of that Paris edition, Included is a long essay on his fight with the pirate publishers., There is some minor repair done to the lower left corner of the board but overall quite good.
