London: Hodder and Stoughton , 1912 a tidy copy with gilt decorated spine, pasted to upper board (as published) is a Japanese landscape of Mount Fuji, unclipped dust jacket has very minor edge rubbing, with minor chip to head of backstrip, closed edges minimal foxing, very tidy, 240pp + 12pp adverts for the Sevenpenny library, Frances Little was the pen-name of Fannie Caldwell (1863 -1941) who wrote 'The Lady of the Decoration' based on her experiences teaching in Hiroshima from 1902 to 1907, this is the anonymous UK issue of her sequel to that successful book.. First Edition. Cloth. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo - over 7? - 9? tall.

London: Hodder and Stoughton, 1906. 1st Edition. Original Cloth. Very Good/No Wrapper. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" Large. No Illustrations. 250pp. A charming very scarce first edition copy. Bound in green cloth with a charming floral decoration to the front board with gilt embossed lettering to the front board and spine. Light fading to the spine and adjacent edges to the boards. Light bumps to the head and tail of the spine and to one board corner. Neat ink name inscription to the front end paper and light foxing to the fore edges and end papers. Textblock is clean and tight. A very good copy.
