Decorative brown cloth-covered boards with gilt cover title. Free edge corners of front and rear covers are bumped, soft rippling of spine cloth. Light circular stain on rear cover. Free endpapers at front and rear are time-toned; owner's name on front free end paper. Text accompanies each of the 16 plates. Contents in very good clean condition with issues to covers noted. Title page utilizes the term "The Landseer Series of Picture Books." It is not made clear the identity of the author associated with the 16 pages of text accompanying each illustration. .
