London: Travel Book Club, 1938 Textured cream-colored paper-covered boards; green cloth spine. First published 1937 by Constable & Co. LTD, London. Translated from the German by Vivian Ogilvie. With ninety black-and-white photograph plates and one map drawing. This book is the outcome of a 1934 expedition to Swedish Lapland by the author and his wife. Boards moderately soiled; corners bumped and worn. Spine cloth slightly faded. Free endpapers evenly darkened as though rectangular sheets of paper were previously laid-in. Interior clean and tight.
