New York: Putnam's Sons, (1973). First edition of this collection of stories. INSCRIBED by Algren (covering the full front endpaper), "with best wishes to Jeen" followed by one of his signature cat drawings, signed and dated June 1978, and colored with light blue and yellow streaks and whirls. Two small cigarette burns to back cover, otherwise bright and fine in near fine dustwrapper with only light rubbing to spine ends and corners.
