Photographic-style title page and front cover. Numerous photographic-style illustrations throughout. A bookseller's ticket to the front paste-down and mild foxing to the top edge otherwise a near fine copy in like price-clipped D/W with the lightest of fraying at the head and tail of the spine. A very nice copy indeed. Arranged by George Palmer Putnam. Photographs/scans available upon request.
Synopsis
Earhart's account of her ill-fated last flight around the world, begun in 1937, remains one of the most moving and absorbing adventure stories of all time. Compiled here are dispatches, letters, diary entries and charts she sent to her husband at each stage of her trip.
