New York: Warner Books, 1982. First Edition, First Printing. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. 6 1/4 X 9 1/4 Inches. 371 PP. Stated "First Printing" with complete number line to the "1" on the copyright page. Original price of $17.50 intact on front flap. Inscribed by President Richard Nixon directly on the half title-page. Signed to Bill and Shirly (sic) Stratton. William "Bill" Stratton was the 32nd Governor of Illinois and served in the position from 1953 to 1961. Although Nixon joined Stratton on his campaign trail in 1960, he would ultimately lose his reelection bid to Otto Kerner Jr. A sharp copy of the book. DJ a bit worn at folds and a few light chips to rear panel. An attractive copy of this important association copy.
