The largest undertaking of the Grabhorn Press, arguably their finest production, and one of the great examples of American fine printing, using as its text Whitman's final edition of Leaves of Grass, published shortly before his death. Folio. Original red half morocco, spine lettered in blind, wooden boards, wood-patterned endpapers, top edge trimmed, others uncut. With woodcuts in the text by Valenti Angelo. Spine very lightly sunned, trivial rubbing, very minor running stain to fore edge of first few leaves, contents otherwise clean. An excellent copy. Heller & Magee 138.
