Washington City: printed at the Columbian Office, 1826. 8vo, pp. 44; stitching renewed; wrappers wanting; very good. An 80-page edition was published in 1825. As a physician, Sewall produced important work on the effects of alcohol and was a major force in the temperance movement. Columbian College subsequently became George Washington University. American Imprints 26054 (not noting that this is a second edition); Cordasco 20-0534.
