Italy: The Albatross - Modern Continental Library, 1947. 399 pp. First Thus - paperback in a dustjacket. MCL 516. The dustjacket has some edge and corner wear. The book has light edge and corner wear with minor creasing on the spine and a tear along the leading edge; no interior markings. Robert Eton was actually Laurence Meynell, who also wrote as Valerie Baxter, Geoffrey Ludlow and A. Stephen Tring. In The Legacy, an old lady dies suddenly and leaves twenty thousand pounds to a small town in which a committee of five, including her solicitor, is to decide what is the most deserving cause to which this money should be put. And then the fighting starts.... First Printing. Paperback. Very Good/Very Good. Book.
