About This Item

Alfred A. Knopf, New York, 2007. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good Condition/Very Good. Illustrator: photographic. Drawing on new primary sources – previously undiscovered recordings of Riefenstahl herself, interviews with her colleagues and intimate friends – the author puts lights in her lifelong portrayal of herself as an apolitical artist, a seeker of beauty who knew nothing of the Holocaust and firmly denied her connection to the Nazi regime that she helped to promote. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. [12], 468 pages, includes a bibliography, chapter notes, and index. Illustrated with 32 pages of black-and-white photography. There is no damage to describe for either the dustjacket or the book and its binding.. Please refer to accompanying picture (s). Illustrator: photographic. Quantity Available: 1.
