Roche Laboratories, 1965. Unbound. Good. Unmarked text. Small spot on cover. Maroon portfolio containing two booklets, a plate introducing Auenbrugger, and a facsimile of a recipe. Von Auenbrugger recommended camphor-induced epilepsy as a treatment for certain cases of insanity and psychosis. Booklets are the Preface and a Case History from his Experimentum Nascens. One in the original Latin. One is translated into English. The full title is Experimentum Nascens de Remedio Specifico Sub Signo Specifico In Mania Virorum (Preliminary Experience with a Specific Remedy in a Specific Syndrome of Human Insanity). Leopold von Auenbrugger (1722-1809), was the Austrian physician who invented percussion as a diagnostic technique.
