It was first published in 1928. Freidrich von Hugel (1852 1925) was a Roman Catholic layman and religious writer. He was a Baron of the Holy Roman Empire. Von Hugel was an authority on the great mystical writers. After his death several collections of his letters, including this one, were published. Bumped head and heel of spine and corners; gilt titles on spine are rubbed off; there is some soil to covers and pages are toned. . Cloth. Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
