First English Edition, 12mo, [vi],414pp., with additional engraved title-page, illustrated with copper plates, contains an inscription in a flowery cursive hand: "A Prize obtained at Mrs. Francis's School by Laura Smith, a few days before she was six years old, December 18, 1811 and the first half year she was at the school", full calf, professional recasing.
