More than two hundred collected letters of Browning to Swinburne, Rossetti, Leigh Hunt, Edmund Gosse and many others, including accounts of Elizabeth Barrett Browning, Shelley, Landor and others, with gossipy news and personal insights. Original bookmark for this publication laid in loosely at the front. Red cloth lettered in gilt, 389 pages, printed dustjacket. The book has some wear to the spine ends and some edge rubbing, good hinges, sound text block, clean pages free from names or other markings. The mylar protected dustjacket is not priceclipped and has soem uneven fading, edgewear, and several chips, resulting in about five percent paper loss overall. . First Edition. Hard Cover. Good/Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
