"In 1975, Father Bob Ogle received the Fellowship Award from the International Development Research Centre to study the long-term effects of projects funded by Canadian nongovernmental organizations. During the year-and-a-half study tour, Father Bob wrote monthly letters to family and friends. The letters described the places he was visiting and the conditions of the people. This book is a collection of those letters.
