New York: McClure, Phillips & Company. Very Good with no dust jacket. 1902. Hardcover. Maroon cloth hardbacks have gilt to spines and blindstamping to front covers. Vol. 1 has 426pp, 21 black and white illustrations including frontis of Lincoln with tissue guard. End papers are split at gutters with fabric visible but holding. Back cover has 3 1/2" bend near spine. Vol. 2 has 475pp, 15 b/w illustrations including frontis of 1860 life mask of Lincoln. Tightly bound and has 3 small ink spots to front cover. Both have gilt to top edge with fore and bottom deckled edges. Slight overall age tanning with no marks in either. Both have light wear at spine edges and corners with minor scuffs to both. ; Small 4to 9" - 11" tall .
