This early edition hardcover of "The Life of Benjamin Franklin" by Weems has been nicely and lovingly re-bound in contemporary leather as shown. Interior is complete, has typical foxing, with engravings scattered throughout. Nice firm binding with original stitching. Author brags that it contains "choice anecdotes and admirable sayings" never before published by any of his biographers. Sample pages are photographed for your review.
