Straight, tight, and clean with no markings, light foxing to text block edges, sharp corners. Dustjacket unclipped bearing original price, very slight edge bumps, in new Brodart sleeve. A social history of the famous 1884 apartment house, star of Rosemary's Baby, and home to New Yorkers such as Boris Karloff, Lauren Bacall, Leonard Bernstein, John Lennon and Yoko Ono as well as a few ghosts and a host of eccentrics. Illustrated with 16 pages of black-&-white plates. Index appended.
