Stiff, printed wrappers, titles printed in black on the front cover, 130 pp., note, preface, illustrated from photographs, portraits, Garrison family data. Rev. Garrison a Methodist minister was born in Ohio in 1810 and he died in Oregon in 1890. In 1839 he moved to Missouri and in 1846 he brought his family to Oregon, coming by the Southern route across the plains. He and his family eventually moved to Salem in 1869 in order for him to be near the university. Much on his ministry and events and history of Oregon. Fine copy.
