Includes many illustrated publisher's advertisements, including 11 full page illustrations for Maclear's 1872 "Narrative of My Captivity Among the Sioux Indians" by Fanny Kelly.
8vo, frontispiece, vii, 343 pp, engraved plates, [38] pp ads. Gilt stamped dark green buckram. Covers rubbed, spine ends slightly worn; inner hinge starting, but still solid.
