Turquoise blue cloth boards in three quarter leather with raised bands and gilt titling on spine, gilt borders along leather on front and back, 8vo., (5 3/4 x 8 1/2 ins.), the leather is edgeworn at the top corners and head of spine, also a couple bands, and cracked along hinge, except for the back of vol. 1. Marbled pastedown/endpapers cracked along hinge on vol. 2. Owner's address label to pastedowns. Dark dampstain over heels of spines. Light dampstain on side page edges only 1/4 to 1/2 inch in, doesn't affect text. Gilt top and rough-cut bottom page edges. Pages are clean and bindings are tight and square as if never read. Limited to 1000 registered sets, of which this is 805.
