Description:
A. L. Burt, ca. 1900. Hardcover. Good. Green cloth with blind stamped borders and gilt stamped spine; top edges gilt. "Cornell Series" at base of spine (instead of A. L. Burt). The title page states "With illustrations by Gordon Browne", but the only illustration is the frontispiece. The extrerior is in very good condition with light rubbing and wear. The interior has an ink inscription, dated June 13, 1900, on the title page and the text leaves are browned with age.
