Methuen & Co Ltd, 1907 Methuen & Co, London, 1907, hb no d/w, 1st ed, green cloth boards with gilt titles and decoration to spine, corners and head and foot and edges of spine bumped and worn, a couple of small nicks at the head and foot of spine, pages tanned with age, some foxing and spotting though the text is largely unaffected,good secure binding, a small dewey-decimal number is written in white at the base of the spine so presumably this is an EX-LIBRARY book though there are none of the stamps and labels associated with a library book. Good reading copy [Box 24]
