Illustrated with a few in-text charts. Singer's text on what the average person can do to assist those experiencing poverty. He makes use of utilitarianism to explain why and how every person of means can and should give resources to assist others. Two pages with a line of highlighting and a number written on the free rear endpaper.


Peter Singer is Ira W. DeCamp Professor of Bioethics at Princeton University. He is the author, co-author, or editor of more than thirty books, including Animal Liberation , widely considered to be the founding statement of the animal rights movement, Practical Ethics , and One World: Ethics and Globalization .
