Linotype and Machinery Ltd, London, 1959. First Edition. Softcover. Very Good Condition/No Dust Jacket. Four page journal or paper with two page editorial supplement. Page size 44cm by 27cm. Journal has been stored folded and all pages have resulting horizontal creases. Folds are slightly worn and paper is a little darkened. Pages are otherwise clean and free from annotation. This edition is soley concerned with the type face Juliana designed by S. L. Hartz. Headlines include 'Linotype announce completion of an addition to the range of type faces for fine book composition', 'specimens of the five sizes of Juliana are shown inside' and 'Celebration of Linotype's new type face at the National Book League Gallery. Editorial supplement contains: The Sunday Times changes to Linotype's Jubilee face and The Daily Telegraph and Morning Post changes to Linotype Jubilee. Contains black and white illustrations.
