Chicago: Merrill Publishing Co.. Near Fine with no dust jacket 1941. First Edition. Hardcover. Unused! Storyland Favorites. With Gummed-Backs (just add water). No paste need. Comprising: Peter Rabbit, Three Little Kittens, Little Red Hen, Little Black Sambo &The Gingerbread Boy. Each story has one page to stick stickers. The facing page has the bright, colorful, adorable stickers, to be cut-out & stuck within the out-line picture within the story. Unused copy. Scarce in this condition. Approx 12 large and small pieces to be cut & stuck for each story page. Sound staple binding - not broken in. Super light rubbing and bumping. Corners still square. The last page is stuck a bit along the edge to the preceding gummed page. 2 closed tears there from attempt to unstick. Does not affect usability and is barely noticeable. Less than 1/8 inch chip on bottom back cover edge (not all the way through). Slight yellowing of pages. Stickers still very bright. Overall an amazing unused book that has been well preserved over the years. ; 13 1/8 by 10 1/2 inches; 10 pages .
