Acceptable. 476 p., clean and unmarked anywhere on strong paper, mildly age-toned, but occasionally foxed; lavishly illustrated; inlaid print on fine paper of little boy in sailor suit about to launch a toy boat; pictorial boards detached from text block, composed of sewn signatures, some of which have come detached.Skillful rebinding strongly recommended, as this a quite wonderful anthology of stories, articles, poems and "miscellaneous"--which included puzzles, a nature club, and a "Little Folk's Post Office.

Picture to front cover shows a mother and young girl walking on a path. First rhyme is 'Up a Tree'. Cover edges are a bit worn. Frontis and prelims are missing, other plates are present. Tape to front and rear pastedowns. Some page browning and small margin tears.

Newark Etc.: Charles A Graham & Co, 1925. Hardcover. Good Condition. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾. The covers with their divine child portrait on front are in excellent shape albeit with a touch of wear at spine and corners and slight spotting just apparent on front. Front hinge is weakening but still functions, rear hinge more solid. Pencil dedication on flyleaf, interior very nice and clean throughout and complete with frontispiece. First two pages have a a few small tears.
