About This Item
Minneapolis: The Little Free Press, 1971. Two consecutive issues of this left-libertarian, anarchist publication from Minneapolis. Content for issue 4 is devoted to the editor's conception of what a free world might look like: an open borders utopia where everyone would do creative, fulfilling work and share all the spoils of said work. Issue 5 continues with the dream and imagines how everything would work better without the shackles of government. The editor, Larry F. Johnson, describes himself as a "drop-out Realtor and ww 2 veteran [who] dropped out two years ago because of the ever increasing government controls, gov. waste, war, higher taxes and you name it." Both issues comprised of 8 ½" x 14" unbound sheets folded to 7" x 8 ½", each 8 p., illus. Some heavy toning along the top of no. 4, lighter to no. 5; mailing label and stamp to the rear page of no. 5.
