Cincinatti: (Procter & Gamble Company), 1906. First Thus. Paperback. Fair. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" In pictorial wraps, 8vo, 40pp. (Shelfwear, rubbing, soiling to covers; splash staining to rear cover; staining from previous damp at inner spine).

Color illustrated soft covers. String binding. Covers have some edge wear. At some time someone has put tape on the inside edges of the covers to prevent further damage. Some slight soiling and creasing to covers. Rear cover has some small holes and tears at fore-edge. One small area of soiling near top edge. Covers and pages are foxed, but text and illustrations are still very clear. Someone has filled out the details of a baby on the "Name" page in pencil, but then erased them apart from the date "1920". Book is slightly bowed at bottom corner, but given its age is in good condition.

Philadelphia: Henry Altemus Company (1921). Used - Acceptable. Acceptable condition. No Dust Jacket (children's poetry) A readable, intact copy that may have noticeable tears and wear to the spine. All pages of text are present, but they may include extensive notes and highlighting or be heavily stained. Includes reading copy only books. Bundled media such as CDs, DVDs, floppy disks or access codes may not be included.

The Procter & Gamble Co. Cincinnati., 1906 Book size about 5 1/2 by 7 1/2 inches with some 40 pages. String tie bound in color illustrated thin cardboard wraps. Illustrated throughout in three color by Katherine R Wireman. Booklet was a complimentary gift from the makers of Ivory Soap. Everything known about raising a baby at the turn-of-the-century (1900, that is). Inside covers residue where a glassine cover had been attached; light stain at front cover top; covers lightly foxed; front cover bottom tip creased. Pretty book. VERY GOOD. 1st Edition.. Soft cover. Very Good/No Jacket.

The Platt & Monk Co., Inc, 1935. Hardcover. Near Fine/Good. 1935 purple hardcover is very nice. Tight binding. Bright, clear cover. No writing inside except owner name inside rear cover. Good dust jacket has edge tears and rubbed extremities, but front illustration is also bright and clear. 1935 printing.

Ohio: The Procter & Gamble Co, 1906. Wraps. good. Color Pictorial wrappers. 39pp Many full page soft illustrations and small vignettes throughout text. This book was sent to new mothers with the compliments of the manufactures of Ivory Soap. It tells how to keep your baby in good heath "from the top of his little bald head to the tips of his pink and white toes." Former owner has written in her baby's name, address and date of birth. Some rubbing along edges. scan available on request.
