Two volume set, new edition corrected, 1803, hardcovers with full-leather boards, octavos, 408pp. and 423pp., not illustrated. Books ex-library with only indication being small withdrawl stamps to rear endpapers; otherwise books VG with moderate rubbing to boards and spines, joints cracking but boards holding, leather title bands on spines show strain but legible, edgewear mostly to spine ends, bindings tender, previous owner's signature to each full-title page, texts toned and foxed otherwise but unmarked and legible. Great copy of this early edition!
