Hardcover with dustjacket, this is the first Wellington Books Edition, "New Illustrated Edition with Postscript Chapter titled Seventeen Years Later," illustrated with photos and an end-paper map, book is in excellent condition, the yellow cloth binding is bright as new, binding and contents are flawless, the dustjacket is clean and bright, the original price (4.50) is present, and a professional (removable) mylar cover is included, it does have an edge-chip at bottom of spine and a few short edge-tears, "high and glorious adventures which included homesteading a 'gumdrop in the San Juan Islands of the Pacific Northwest, teaching Eskimos near Siberia, and exploring the U.S. by donkey cart with a happy baby aboard," a beautifully-preserved copy .
