About This Item
Santa Rosa:: Black Sparrow Press,, 1995.. First Trade Printing. A Fine tight unread hardcover copy with acetate dust jacket. This second volume of Bukowski's letters takes up where volume one left off in the 1960s and continues into the next decade. During this period Bukowski is liberated from the drudgery of his post office job and is now working as a full time writer thanks to a monthly stipend of $100 from his publisher John Martin. We read of Bukowski's growing popularity and his personal shift from struggling writer to a successful man of letters and property.
