Colour of spines faded to light brown, also some fading to fronts and backs. Small pieces clipped from upper margins of ffeps. No inscriptions. Two volume set in green cloth bound by H. Brown with gilt titles to spines. A total of 42 chromolithographed plates. Speckled edges. Vol. I regards partridges, pheasants, and sand-grouse, with Vol. II continuing with pheasants and then megapodes, curassows, hoatzins, and bustard-quails. Previous owner's name in ink to front endpapers dated 1955. Stain to front cover of Vol. II (see image). Overall nice clean copies.
